Mass to Celebrate the Beatification of Blessed Michael J. McGivney, founder of the Knights of Columbus

Blessed (Father) Michael J. McGivney, the founder of the Knights of Columbus, was born in Waterbury, CT. on Aug. 12, 1852 and died Aug. 14, 1890. You can call upon Father McGivney’s
intercession whenever family issues arise and invoke him by his titles: Apostle to the Young and Protector of Christian Family Life. Because of his vision today there are
more than 2 million members of the Knights of Columbus in some 15,000 local councils around the world. In 2019, these Knights donated $187 million to charity. The insurance program he began in 1882 to support families who were destitute after a member and the family breadwinner died is today a Fortune 1000 company with $100 billion in financial protection for Knights & their families.We will also host a livestream event to participate remotely – here https://www.facebook.com/events/368333994443857
