If you have a current annuity contract you can make a deposit at any time by mailing a check directly to the home office, (make sure to write your current annuity contract number in the memo line, and tax year if the contract is an IRA).

Annuity contracts have surrender charges, but you can take out up to 10% of the total deposits and interest every year without penalty.
