The Rev. Patrick F. Pindar Council, Knights of Columbus, of Ramsey, New
Jersey awards $1000 a year in Scholarship’s to be allocated at the discretion of
the Scholarship Committee. The scholarship committee at its discretion can amend
either higher or lower this amount, provided the council officers approve with a
majority vote. Each scholarship will be awarded to a Catholic man or woman who
is the Son, Daughter or Grandchild of a member of the Patrick F. Pindar council.
The candidates should exemplify the principals of our order, Charity, Unity,
Fraternity and patriotism. The candidate should also have a history of community
service and be an active member of their church. This scholarship is available
for post-secondary use to any accredited college, vocational school, technical
school or secretarial school. Each candidate is eligible for only one
scholarship but can apply multiple times if not awarded a scholarship in a
previous year.
| ALL APPLICATIONS MUST SUPPLY THE FOLLOWING:
1. An official high school transcript 2. A one page essay which
clearly demonstrates your commitment to the principals of Charity,
Unity, Fraternity and Patriotism. It should also include and example of
your community service.
ALL COMPLETED MATERIALS MUST BE POSTMARKED NO LATER THAN JUNE 1,
